The cover depicts clonally derived mesenchymal-like cells obtained from human fetal pancreatic islets show immunopositivity to
vimentin (green). Nuclei are stained with Hoechst 33342 and shown in red. Since these cells are obtained from hormone-producing
cells in islets, they are believed to be better islet-progenitor cells.
