The cover depicts indirect immunofluorescence localization of vezatin (green) and nuclei (blue) in adult mouse wild type testis cryosections. Vezatin, a ubiquitous protein of adherens cell-cell junctions, is exclusively expressed in germ cells in mouse testis. In the forthcoming review on thyroid hormone, Wagner et al. discuss the role of thyroid hormone on testicular development.
