CORRIGENDUM

In the paper by R. E. Chapman and J. M. Bassett (J. Endocr., 1970, 48, 649–663) on page 661, lines 7–9:

'Therefore, it is most unlikely that the increase in plasma cortisol concentration was responsible for the inactivation of follicles in the hairy areas.'

should read

'Therefore, it is most unlikely that an increase in plasma cortisol concentration is responsible for the inactivation of follicles in the hairy areas.'
